Dancer #9 Wire Sculpture

In this series of freestanding wire sculptures, Sherwood-Forbes seeks to convey the human form in a minimal, sinuous curving strand of steel wire. These living drawings are not static - they bounce and move in the air, adding a wonderfully animated sense of play.

Sherwood-Forbes' freestanding works are best placed near a wall with a neutral background, to better capture the idea of drawing in air.
