TDAO 1 - unsigned open edition

Recently I’ve begun bringing new materials into my fine art practice. It’s been exciting to be a newcomer again, it brings with it a sense of discovery and struggle. Bringing line back down onto the 2D plane, then bisecting and disrupting those planes to create a three dimensional art object which requires the viewer to move about the the piece to get the whole picture, when there purposefully is no whole picture to get, violates everything I’ve worked for in refining my wall based monowire wire work.

I’m purposefully walking right into Baudelaire’s Critique of Sculpture and abandoning trying to control the visual narrative. My accidents are on display for all to see.
